Integral Development Associates, a teaching and consulting firm, designs and delivers programs to enhance leadership, performance, and strategy and decision-making. We offer custom-designed consulting and learning experiences, executive coaching, curriculum development and workshops to achieve our clients’ objectives.

Change – “Immunity to change” is the natural resistance to anything that disturbs equilibrium.  This natural immunity can hold organizations back, whether its members want to initiate change or respond to a change arising in their environment.

Initiating Change: We help organizations develop the ability to improve performance or capitalize on an opportunity by enhancing what they are already doing that works and by pointing out unexamined assumptions.

Responding to Change: We enable organizational leaders to responses and mobilize effective, sustainable action.

Complexity – Research shows that the organizations that can manage complexity, and operate with a systems perspective, achieve better performance and profitability.  Through leadership and team development, learning experiences and executive coaching we give individuals and groups new tools and technologies that make complexity more understandable and manageable. We help organizations see the systems they work within, and how to engage them effectively.

Care – As many organizations come to grips with issues of corporate social responsibility, social justice, environmental responsibility and ethics, we help them connect to or articulate the deeper sense of meaning and purpose in their work and the workplace. Creating solidarity around people’s collective sense of purpose and commitment creates a naturally motivated, higher performing organization.

The starting point for our work is what clients already know and do well. We build on organizational strengths and create customized programs that address both intermediate and long-term goals. Drawing from decades of experience with different approaches to organizational development, we help discover the best next steps for a group or key personnel in the service of the organization as a whole.
